Evergreen By Dr. Paul Bennett for 08192020

The short story run on this blog has been pretty consistent from the first week of the quarantine for the Chinese virus in March. We’ve had dozens of great stories by 7 great authors. Today marks the point where we pause for a while, with the short stories resuming around Halloween.

I will be writing each week, and if you would be so kind as to leave a comment, you get some control on content. Should I return to political and cultural blogs, or provide flash fiction each week?  Leave a note and I’ll weigh it in my decision.

For today, however, we are gifted with a great story from our own Dr. Paul J. Bennett. Evergreen is a perfect way to end this run of stories. I consider it an honor to travel in the circles of writers like Paul. I know you’ll enjoy it.

We hope you’ll visit the other authors who comprise this collection: Paul Bennett, Robert CelyDerek Elkins, Jamie D. Greening, Kathy Kexel, and Joe Shaw. As always, there’s no fee, we’re doing this to help you pass the time. We do ask that you buy our books/audio books to help pay the freight here. But that’s up to you! Mine are all on the right margin of the blog.
