A New Thing For Wednesdays

Looking for my usual pithy stuff? Not today.

Nope. Instead we’re embarking on a Wednesday format where I share the space with my friend Russ Scott. We’ve been friends for years, he ministers in a setting I’m familiar with, and would still be a part of if I hadn’t escaped to Florida. He’s the real deal.

So, each week I’ll post a devotion he’s written. And after the devotion there are “tip jar” links. Up to you if you donate, but I know Russ and the funds will go where he says they will go.

Now, on to the devotion:

The Ask: to the readers, after the devotion, I invite you to please see the tip jar links for information regarding donations. Thank you kindly.

The Devotion: this last Sunday, believers celebrated the victory of the resurrection. There is new life! So, is the welcome mat of your spirit open to the new and fresh appointments God has prepared for you? May the Lord breathe fresh life into the dry areas of your spirit! May your heart pound with exuberance in anticipation of a new Kingdom vision. May your legs be ready to run in the direction of new experiences.
Ask the Lord to open your eyes to the fresh anointing that is set before you! May the Lord enhance your discernment regarding His path. Trust that you are called to bigger dreams, higher ground, holy places of goodness. You are called to soar like an eagle. Trust that you are strengthened mightily, armed in wisdom, and shielded in faith for the journey ahead. God is with you!
Press Forward in the bigness of the Supreme God. ♡

“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:3).

The Action: The purpose of the tip jar: if you are touched by this devotion, please bless the ministry the Lord has given me to guide people toward spiritual wellness through spiritual counseling by contributing to the tip jar links below. A portion of your donation will go toward long term oversees missionaries I support. The donations also go to a Haitian elderly program to feed seniors, and counseling people through crisis,. You are best! God bless ♡

God bless you 👏
