I’m not going to do this very often (I hope) but this morning I’d like you to say some prayers for my friend Steven.

I’ve known Steven since we suffered our way through the freshman year of NROTC in 1977. I lost track of him in 1978. We hooked up again in 2012. 34 years is a long time to put a friendship on hold, but it was the pre-internet era and stuff like that just happened.

He’s in the hospital, very ill, and in need of your prayers. God knows which Steven we’re talking about and He’ll take it under advisement if we all get on a knee and pray.

Please take a few minutes to pray for him and his wife Holly. This is a tough time for his family.

Thank you.
