John tells the story of resurrection better than the others, and so it is logical to present his version of Christ as the focus is on the miracles, teaching, death, and resurrection of Jesus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, without further ado, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DhpVUuvj8Mw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gospel of John: Chapter 12.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DhpVUuvj8Mw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I appreciate your coming to visit. I am always in need of prayer.<\/p>\n<p>Second, buy a book (or 12) from my audio book list and help me be comfortable!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audible.com\/pd\/B0BX4RSGN7\/?source_code=AUDFPWS0223189MWU-BK-ACX0-342613&amp;ref=acx_bty_BK_ACX0_342613_pd_us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RAIN by Dana Mcneely<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In ancient Samaria, Aban anticipates his rites of passage with excitement and dread. He yearns to join the priesthood of Ba\u2019al Melqart, unlock the power of the rain god, and hear the deity\u2019s voice. He\u2019s been warned the licentious ceremony can take a dangerous turn, but as eldest son of the high priestess, he holds a privileged position. If he can make it through the ceremony, one day he\u2019ll rise to high priest.<\/p>\n<p>On the eve of the rituals, Aban\u2019s mother confesses a dark secret about the bloody sacrifice demanded by Melqart. Aban may have escaped the flames, but if he is to save his brother, Aban must take his destined position of power as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>When the mysterious prophet Elijah interrupts the rites, overturns the idol, and curses the land with drought, Aban\u2019s world is shaken. The current high priest and the king appear powerless, but even more confusing is the fact that the rain god does nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Against his better judgment, Aban conceals the strange prophet\u2019s whereabouts, forfeiting the high priesthood. Now an enemy of the relentless Queen Jezebel,&nbsp;Aban has&nbsp;little time to question his fading commitment to Ba\u2019al Melqart as he and his loved ones flee. But the conflict in Samaria is much larger than just a high priestess and her sons.
